Heavy to very heavy rains likely at Andhra Pradesh

Pune, Nov 16 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in north Tamil Nadu and at many places in Telangana, interior Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar.

Rains or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, and at isolated places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in coastal Orissa, south Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, south Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Vidarbha and Marathwada.

Mainly dry Weather will prevail in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, north Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Heavy to very heavy occurred at most places in coastal Andhra Pradesh while heavy rain occured at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Rain and thundershowers occurred at most places in Rayalaseema, and at isolated places in Orissa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, north interior and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Marathwada, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Assam and Meghalaya, while below normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, south interior Karantaka and in some parts of Saurashtra and Kutch.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Gangetic West Bengal,Orissa, Rajasthan, northwest Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Vidarbha, south Chattisgarh, north Telangana, north interior Karnataka and in some parts of Jharkhand, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh and of south Madhya Maharashtra and were above normal in Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Kashmir, north Chattisgarh, coastal Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka and in remaning parts of Madhya Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.
