Indore, Nov 16 (UNI) England speedster Ryan Sidebottom has recovered fully from his achilles injury and would be available in the second ODI against India here tomorrow.
Sidebottom, who missed the opening ODI in which England suffered a humiliating 158-run defeat, has been practising at the nets for last two days but his availability for the second match was always a matter of concern for the visitors.
''Sidebottom is fully fit and he is up for contention. He bowled in the nets, he's 100 per cent fit,'' Collingwood told mediapersons here today.
Collingwood also added that his team has learnt its lessons from the defeat and would come out with more agression against the Indians tomorrow.
''They hit us hard at Rajkot. We need to be aggressive. The key is early wickets, there is a bit of inexperience in their middle order and we can expose it a bit,'' Collingwood added.
Watching his team being hammered by the Indian batsmen from the pavillion, coach Peter Moores has also advised his wards to show more aggression and consistensy.
''I think we can be more aggressive as a unit and take that into the next game and not wait for the game to take shape,'' Moores said.
''We have to remind ourselves how we play our brand of cricket and play that brand of cricket in different places,'' he added.
Meanwhile, India was also hopeful that Yuvraj Singh would make it to the playing XI and would recover from his back problem in time for the match.
Yuvraj was the chief destroyer as far as England was concerned and hammered an unbeaten 138 off just 78 balls.
Pacer Ishant Sharma might be given rest for another match after an ankle injury forced him to opt out of the opening match.
''There is improvement in Yuvi's case and there is a very good chance that we might rest Ishant for one more game so that he gets a break of six or seven days,'' Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said here today.
''As of now Yuvi has improved a lot and Ishant may be rested for the next two matches but the last call will be taken before the game,'' he added.
