Hyderabad, Nov 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed the District Collectors to ensure relief measures for cyclone victims following torrential rains in the state.
Dr Reddy asked the officials concerned to start enumeration of crop and property, damaged due to the rains lashing the coastal districts and report the same to the Commissioner, Disaster Management for further action.
Dr Reddy was holding a video-conference with the District Collectors on the status on 'Khai Muk' cyclone and the ''Rytu Protsahaka Utsavalu'' to be held from November 19 to November 30.
The State Minister for Agriculture, N Raghuveera Reddy said 32 lakh farmers would be benefitted from the scheme.
