Sharad Sangam at Yogoda Satsang concludes
Ranchi, Nov 15 (UNI) The seven-day Sharad Sangam today concluded with a spiritual fervour, which was organised by Yogoda Satsang Society.
Swami Shraddhananda of the ashram, founded by Sri Sri Paramhansa Ygananda, said the programme was attended by 1,700 devotees, adding many of them came from the overseas.
The sharas song, unique to the ashram, attracts devotees all over the country including the US, Italy, Germany, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, Shraddhananda said.
The theme of the song was aimed at spreading the message that inner peace could be achieved through systematic meditation technique taught by the Guru.
During the programme, various monks tried to drive home the point that a person's endeavour to attain spiritual upliftment could be possible by sheer dint of serious perseverance.
''Secret desire for quick results is the sure formula of not getting the upliftment,'' Swami Suddhanda Giriji said.
Meanwhile, a review of various meditation techniques--Han Sau, Oum, Kriya Yog ad Raj Yoga were done by senior monks during different sessions.
