Goa to clash against Jharkhand in Ranji tie tomorrow

Margao, Nov 15 (UNI) Buoyed by their win against Jammu&Kashmir, Goa will be looking for another victory against Jharkhand in the four day Ranji Trophy Plate 'A' group match to be played here at MCC ground from tomorrow.

Hosts Goa are presently placed second with six points from two matches, with a win against Jammu&Kashmir and a draw against Kerala. While Jharkhand is placed fourth with three points, with a draw and a loss.

Goa coach Dodda Ganesh said they will play for the full points and players are confident to win the match against Jharkhand.

He praised talented batsmen captain Swapnil Asnodkar, Sagaun Kamat, all rounder Robin D souza, Ryan Ninan and Saurab Bandekar all of whom contributed well in the last match and snatch a win against Jammu&Kashmir.

Left arm spinner Shadab Jakati who claimed total of 11 wickets in the last two matches, includes seven wickets against J&K. The same team to play against Jharkahnd tomorrow, the coach added.

Jharkhand team manager said, batting and bowling departments of his team are well balanced and they are looking forward for a win.
