New Delhi, Nov 15 : Senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Lal Krishna Advani inaugurated website of V.K. Malhotra, party's chief ministerial candidate of Delhi on Saturday.

Malhotra has been pitched against ruling congress Chief Minister of New Delhi Shiela Dikshit.

Five states including Delhi are going to polls during November and December to elect new Assemblies.

Advani on the occasion said that his party has always been technologically advanced.

"Be it Bharatiya Janasangh or Bharatiya Jana Party, they have been in fore front in implementing modern technologies for their use. I have no idea whether any other political party has launched its website as we have already done that in the year 1997-1998," said Advani.

All 70-assembly seats of Delhi will go for polls on November 29 and counting of votes will take place on December 08.

Ruling Congress party, hit by inflation and perceived as having weak government leadership, has been losing ground to the BJP in elections in various states over the last year.

These assembly elections are expected to be a run down to the forthcoming general elections in early 2009 that would test the political temperature.
