Jammu, Nov 14: A suspected woman 'spy' of Pakistan's Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) was arrested by security forces near Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of western Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources today said.
During the questioning, the arrested woman identified herself as Ashiya, 23, wife Havildar Mohammad Sajjad of Pakistan Army, sources said, asserting that she is resident of village Patni in Jhelum area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The woman, sources said, was arrested as soon as she crossed into this side from LoC at Rakhi Sadyal post of Sunderbani on Wednesday evening.
Barring cosmetic items and some clothes, no incriminating documents were recovered from Ashiya and she maintained that she had crossed the LoC inadvertently, sources added.
However, on her disclosure that she is the wife of a Pakistani soldier, security forces put her to sustained interrogation.
Sources said the woman had a lot of information about the militant training camps in Bhimber and Jhelum areas of PoK.
Security agencies, interrogating the woman, said the information available with her indicated that she could be a spy.
