About a dozen, of close relatives of prominent leaders have figured in two lists of 137 candidates announced by the ruling saffron party so far.

At least four relatives of prominent leaders got nominations in the list of 43 candidates released by the party yesterday.

She will contest against Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma's son Brij Kishore Sharma (Congress).

Similarly, sitting party MP Krishna Lal Valmiki's dauther-in-law got party ticket from Kapasan(SC) and sitting MP Subhash Mehariya's close relative Banshidhar Bajia has been fielded from Khandela in Sikar district. Despite his defeat in the last election, Bajia succeeeded in getting the party's favour.

Former Minister of State Virendra Meena, who had quit the Ministerial post in the wake of Gujjar agitation, has been denied party ticket but his father retired Divisional Railway Manager Rajkumar Meena has been picked up by the party instead from Lalsot constituency.
