KRNF to produce documentary on K R Narayanan

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 14: K R Narayanan Foundation (KRNF), based at Kottayam in Kerala, will produce a documentary film on the life of former President K R Narayanan.

The film would be based on a biography of the late President written by Eby Jose, who is also general secretary of the K R Narayanan Foundation, a release said here.

The summary of the film's script, titled ''KR Narayanan--Oru Gandhian Swapna Sakshathkaram'' (K R Narayanan--realisation of a Gandhian dream) was presented to former President APJ Abdul Kalam during his visit to Kottayam last week.

The Foundation has planned to distribute the DVD copies of the work to all school libraries in the state.

The K R Narayanan Foundation was founded in December, 2005, aimed at propagating the ideals and perpetuating the memory of Mr Narayanan, who became the first person of the country from humble beginnings, the release added.
