Gowda family dividing Vokkaliga community: BJP ministers
Bangalore, Nov 14 (UNI) Two BJP state ministers belonging to Vokkaliga community today alleged that Janata Dal(Secular) leader H D Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy were attempting to divide the community with an 'ulterior political motive.' Talking to newspersons, Transport Minister R Ashok and Labour Minister B N Bachegowda alleged that Mr Gowda was making efforts to divide the dominant Vokkaliga community by trying to form a parallel Vokkaliga mutt, against the existing Adichunchanagiri mutt headed by Balagangadhara Swamiji.
The ministers alleged that former Chief Minister and JD(S) state President H D Kumaraswamy, at the instance of his father Deve Gowda, had slapped a criminal case against the Acichunchanagiri Mutt on false charges only to harass the swamiji.
