Bhopal, Nov 14 (UNI) A candidate would have to face three years of ban against contesting any further election if he failed to present all the expenditure during Madhya Pradesh assembly polls.
Election Commission issued directives yesterday that if the candidate failed to abide by the law then he had to undergo the ban.
Legal provisions said that if even after depositing the security deposit, the candidate had to submit the details of his poll expenses. Also, if a candidate contested from two constituencies simultaneously then he had to submit expenses list of the constituencies separately.
It was clarified that all the expenses including personal expenses of candidate, authorised, concerned political party, any other organisation, party unit and expenses made by any other person, would also be added to the candidate's account.
