Central Bank of India raises Rs 300 cr from bonds
Mumbai, Nov 14 (UNI) Central Bank of India (CBI), a public sector lender, today announced that it has raised Rs 300 crore from bonds to meet capital requirements and fund business growth.
''The Bank has raised capital in the form of Upper Tier-II Bonds to the tune of Rs 300 crore,'' CBI said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Shares of the Central Bank closed at Rs 38.20, down 0.52 per cent on the BSE today.
