Jaunpur, Nov 14 (UNI) Claiming its victory in the six state assembly elections, the BJP today said its results would have an impact on the forthcoming Lok Sabha election and show the parties keeping the 'anti-people' approach the exit door.
''The party will do good in the assembly elections for the six states...the results will also prove beneficial in the impending Lok Sabha polls,'' said BJP youth leader and party president Rajnath Singh's son Pankaj Singh here.
Uttar Pradesh was on the way of backwardness under the present regime of Ms Mayawati. All the vows of the Chief Minister have fallen like a pack of cards as she was doing little good for the farmers and youth of the state, he charged.
Now, people of state were looking for a change, Mr Singh averred.
The BJP youth leader further hit out at the Congress-led UPA government for its failure to curb 'terrorism' and 'inflation' in the country.
The situation has arisen as an effective law like Prevention of Terrorism Act (POTA), meant to tackle terrorism, was missing, he alleged.
