Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) India's A1GP driver Narayan Karthikeyan has asserted that despite worldwide economic crisis the sports car industry will survive.
Karthiketan, who was present at the 'Autocar Performance Show 2008' here today, told reporters though A1 and F1 car industries are cutting their costs, it is just a bad phase, which wouldn't be lasting long.
Team India's driver who, recently earned one point in Chengdu circuit, said the success in Chengdu inspired the team and they are hopeful to perform well in coming races.
Asked about his new car powered by Ferrari, he said '' the new car's aerodynamics and engine helped me to perform well and I am hopeful to do my best in A1GP races in future.'' UNI AB OBB RKM PM1707
