UAE passenger held with fake passport

Kozhikode, Nov 13: One more passenger from the United Arab Emirates was arrested for travelling with a forged passport at the Calicut International Airport on Thursday, Nov 13.

Immigration department sources said Abdul Khader Asainar, a native of Manjeswaram in Kasargod district, who arrived on a RAK Airways flight from Ras-al-Khaimah was arrested early this morning.

He had travelled on a passport issued to one Jaspal Singh of Bhatinda in Punjab, the sources said, adding the impersonator was later handed over to the police in Kondotty after preliminary investigation.

With this the department had nabbed 48 people who arrived at the airport with forged documents from different West Asian countries during the last couple of months, they added.
