Narendraswamy suspects Ms Alva's role in Sale of ticket racket
Mysore, Nov 13 (UNI) Karnataka Minister for Women and Child Welfare Narendraswamy today alleged that Ms Margret Alva might be involved in her alleged Sale of ticket racket.
Talking to newsmen, Mr Narendraswamy, who recently quit Congress to join ruling BJP, said that "those who themsleves were involved in such rackets are now making allegations against their colleagues." Mr Narendraswamy alleged that in 1994 Assembly Elections it was Ms Alva who was responsible for not getting Congress ticket to him.
He rediculed the Congress leaders saying that those who indulged in the process(of selling ticket) are now busy in mudslinging at each other. The Minister also pointed out that being a AICC General Secretary and member in ticket allotment committee, Alva very well knew how the tickets were distributed. Then her allegations must be true, he added.
"She may be making allegations now, but I don't think that Ms Alva was innocent," he added.
He urged the Congress to subject Ms Margaret Alva and other leaders including Kagodu Thimappa and K C Kondaiah to narco analysis test to find out the turth behind Ms Alva's allegations.
