Gaya, Nov 13 (UNI) Maiost guerillas attacked a camp of a construction agency and set ablaze the machines and vehicles engaged for laying the railway tracks near Jharna-Saren village in Gaya district.
Police here today said hundreds of Maoist guerillas, armed with sophisticated firearms, attacked the makeshift camp of workers of the construction agency enaged in laying down the railway tracks between Tilaiya-Rajgir railway station last night.
''The Maoists set afire four dumpers and two tractors after asking the agency workers to vacate the area,'' police said, adding all the Maoists managed to escape from the spot.
A manhunt had been launched in the area to nab the ultras and others involved in the incident, police added.
