Bomb blast at railway station, one seriously injured
Bokaro, Nov 13 (UNI) A powerful bomb went off at Chandrapura railway station that left a person seriously injured, about 50 km from here this evening.
The explosion took place at about 1945 hrs and immediately the panic-stricken area wore a deserted look.
The bomb was packed in a bag and kept in the old booking office, sources said.
Police did not link the explosion to any naxalite outfit but in 2005, Maoist Communist Centre of India (MCCI) had looted 23 stenguns and rifles attacking GRP at this station.
In the past two months, the naxalite outfit had been launching poster campaign in this area, sources from the area said.
The injured was rushed to Central Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
