Another batch of 400 more hajis left for Jeddah from J and K
Srinagar, Nov 13 (UNI) The departure of pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir for 2008 haj continued as two special flights with 400 hajis left today for Jeddah from Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport here, official sources said.
Since the start of departure of pilgrims on October 30, a total of 3126 hajis left for undertaking the pilgrimage at two holy cities of Mecca and Madina from the state so far.
An estimated 8,000 pilgrims from the state would perform Hajj-2008 this year in the holy cities of Mecca and Madina.
