US delegation meets Geeta Reddy

Hyderabad, Nov 12 (UNI) Mr Israel Hernandez, Director General of Commercial Services (International Trade Administration) United States of America, and other delegates today met the Minister for Major Industries, Sugar, Commerce and Export promotion J Geeta Reddy.

Dr Geeta Reddy explained to Mr Hernandez the industrial development in Andhra Pradesh and investor friendly industrial policies of the present Government. The Minister explained that due to the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy the State has achieved Number one position in the country during the year 2008-2009 in attracting investments into the state.

The delegation observed that opportunities were available to the Uunited State in Automobile, Atomic Power Plants, Mobile Technology, Solar Power modules in Andhra Pradesh, a release said.

The Minister informed the delegation on the availability of land Bank with the Government and the Chief Minister is ready to take immediate decisions to attract investment into the state.
