Students from NE interact with Mani Shankar Aiyar

New Delhi, Nov 12 : The Union Minister for Development of North East Region (DoNER) and Panchayati Raj, Mani Shankar Aiyar, met with the students from remote border area of Arunachal Pradesh in New Delhi today.

Speaking on the occasion, Aiyar said, "I am sure that these students will gain valuable experience by seeing the historical monuments, discovering the values of unity in diversity and communal harmony."

The students interacted with the Minister on various issues.

Under its Civic Action Programme Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has arranged an excursion of boys of remote border area of Arunachal Pradesh.

A group of 20 students from ITBP Public School Aalo, Higher Secondary Aalo, Nehru Memorial School Aalo, (District-West Siang) and Government Higher Secondary School, Kemin is visiting Delhi from November 10-14.
