Mainly dry weather over the State

Bangalore, Nov 12 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Rainfall occurred at a few places over Coastal Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Mani 4, Bajpe 1 Minimum temperatures fell at many places over Interior Karnataka being appreciably so at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka. They were below normal at many places over North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka. Agumbe recorded lowest minimum temperature of 14.2 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather likely to prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin:Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka. Mainly dry weather likely to prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka. Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night.
