Gold recovers in opening session on bullish advice
Mumbai, Nov 12: Gold recovered by Rs 50 per ten gm to Rs 11,800 per ten gm in the opening session on Wednesday, Nov 12 on improved demand from ornament makers, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.
However, silver was down by Rs 185 per kg at Rs 17,205 per kg. Similarly, in Asian market also, a mixed trend was seen as gold was quoted up at USD 738.00/739.50 (740.00/742.25) per troy ounce, while silver was quoted down at USD 09.89/09.90 (10.24/10.25) per troy ounce respectively. Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 17,205 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 11,800 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 11,865.
