Patna, Nov 12 (UNI) Describing the storyline as a 'true reflection' of the recent happenings in Mumbai against the north Indians, the hero cum producer of 'Deshdrohi,' the latest Bollywood blockbuster, claimed that the flim would not generate any ill-feelings among the viewers against the Maharastrians.
Speaking to newsmen here today prior to the formal release of the film, the hero as well as the producer of 'Deshdrohi' Kamaal R Khan said since he himself belonged to Uttar Pradesh, he came across a lot of 'humiliation' during the early period of his stay in Mumbai which he tried to project in the film.
He, however, described it 'just a co-incidence' of the recent happenings in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra against the north Indians.
''I had planned to release the film in November long time ago and it was just a co-incidence that the recent attacks on north Indians by a section of Mumbaikars took place last month generating a nationwide protest,'' Mr Khan said but denied that such happenings might push up the sales and the number of viewership elsewhere in the country.
Referring to the depiction of largescale corruption among the present day politicians in his film apart from violence, Mr Khan said it was also the true reflection of the prevailing all India scenario.
