Shimoga, Nov 12 (UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party State President S Bangarappa, today alleged the BJP-led government in the State had completely failed in all fields and indulged in corruption.
Talking to mediapersons here, he said even though Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was announcing crores of rupees for various development works in the state, actually there was no money left in the state exchequer.
''Since the state exchequer is completely exhausted, whatever statements will be made by the BJP leaders will be full of bogus ones,'' the MP charged.
Regarding coming Lok Sabha elections, Mr Bangarappa said he had already discussed with Janata Dal (S) National President H D Deve Gowda, who had given him green signal to contest from Samajawadi Party and also assured him of his support in this regard.
The former chief minister said that Congress and other secular parities had also promised him of support if he contested from Samajawadi Party in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
He claimed there were good relations between Samajawadi party and the UPA government in the Centre.
Mr Bangarappa said even though the KPCC leaders objected to the party support to SP in the state, he would not bother about that, since he has got full support of Congress High Command in this connection.
