Mr Singh would devote four days in Chhattisgarh, six days in Madhya Pradesh and five days in Rajasthan. He would campaign for two days in Jammu and Kashmir and one day in Mizoram and Dr Joshi would hit the roads in the states for 12 days while Mr Naidu and Ms Swaraj would give 16 and 15 days respectively in response to campaign responsibilities he said.
The Chief Ministers of poll-bound states would extensively tour their respective states aiding the campaign which appears to be a reminder of 2003 assembly elections when the BJP contested 651 seats out of 717 seats. The party at that time had won 365 seats claiming victory in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Mr Naqvi said.
BJP General Secretary Arun Jaitley has been given charge of Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir elections. Other prominent leaders like Yashwant Sinha, Gopinath Munde, Vinjay Katiyar, Ananth Kumar, Vijay Goel, Ramlal, Kalraj Mishra, Arjun Munda, Shanawaz Hussain, Ravishankar Prasad Prakash Javadekar and Mr Naqvi himself will tour the states.
Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states like Narendra Modi, Prem Kumar Dhumal, B C Khanduri, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi will all be undertaking extensive tours of the states.
Cine actors turned politicians like Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini, Vinod Khanna, Suresh Oberoi, Smriti Irani, Mukhesh Khanna and Cricketer turned BJP MP Navjot Sindhu will be participating in the campaign.
