Lucknow, Nov 12 (UNI) Mentioning 138 cases of heinous crimes committed upon the traders under the present regime of Ms Mayawati in Uttar Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party (SP) today announced to hold a massive agitation against the BSP's misrule here on November 18.
SP Vyapar Sabha working president Banwari Lal Kanchal here told newspersons the party would stage a vociferous protest near Sardar Patel's statue on that day.
Not only this, the SP would apprise the poor plight of the traders to Governor T V Rajeswar through a memorandum.
''The traders are in a dismal condition under the present rule and being killed, robbed and abducted across the state,'' he alleged.
Till now, 138 cases of various crimes have been committed upon the trader community, which includes the infamous killing of Khunkhunji jewellers and also the murder of two more jellewers in the state capital recently. The mentioned murders were accompanied with dacoity.
