Hardoi, Nov 11 (UNI) Alleging that every single person was fed-up with the present Mayawati-led Uttar Pradesh government, Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav said her statues would be bulldozed, if his party is voted to power.
''Chief Minister Mayawati is very fond of installing her idols, but all would be demolished at first in our regime,'' he said today while addressing an election meeting in favour of Sukhsagar Sinha, the party candidate fielded for the by-election at Hardoi's Sursa Vidhan Sabha seat.
In its 18 month long rule, the Mayawati government has misused funds for parks and memmorials, Mr Yadav charged.
''Each and every person of the state is annoyed of all this now,'' he said.
The SP chief further called upon the party activists to take it as a perfect opportunity to take revenge for all the wrongs done to them by the ruling state government.
