Umaria, MP, Nov 11 (UNI) The BJP has complained to the Chief Election Commissioner that active workers of certain political parties had been assigned poll duties.
District BJP General Secretary and former legislator Virendra Singh Chandel made copies of letter of the complaint available to mediapersons here today.
He claimed that office-bearers of the Congress, the CPI and the Bharatiya Jan Shakti had been assigned poll duties in Manpur and Bandhavgard assembly seats in this district.
He said the CEC and the state electoral officer has been sent a complaint along with a list demanding removal of such poll officials in order to ensure free and fair polls.
