New Civil Judges felicitated in Mysore

Mysuru, Nov 11: Sarada Vilas Educational Institution on Monday, Nov 10 felicitated eight newly-recruited junior grade civil judges who had undergone training at Mysore Bar Association.

Chief Minister's Parliamentary Secretary S A Ramdas hono-ured the judges with garlands and mementoes. Paramesh, Mahesh Babu, Eshwar, Puttaswamy, Siddaraju, Jayalakshmi, Anupama and Bharathi were the eight judges.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramdas said that people still consider the judiciary as free from corruption. The politicians are being targeted for corruption. The role of the bureaucrats and politicians is very important in the implementation of any project or works and as such should be clean and transparent.

Black spots are seen even in the judicial system. There is more responsibility on the judges and it is essential that they should be role models to others, he explained.

B.S. Ranga Iyengar, President of Sarada Vilas Institutions, presided. Principal District and Sessions Judge Shetkar Subhas, former MLC G. Madhusudhan, the Institution's Honorary Secretary S. Krishnamurthy and the Governing Council member S. Shiva were the chief guests.

Bar Council member C.M. Jagadish, Advocates Sampath Iyengar and H.N. Venkatesh, the Sarada Vilas Law College Principal Bollamma and Vidya Vardhaka Law College Principal Vasudeva were present on the occasion.
