Mumbai, Nov 11 (UNI) Mahindra China Tractor Company Limited (MCTCL), a joint venture between Mahindra&Mahindra and Jiangling Motor Company, China, participated in the annual China Agricultural Machinery Fair (CAMF) held recently at Zheng Zhou, the Capital of Henan Province.
This is Asia's biggest Agricultural Machinery Fair, with more than 1,700 manufacturers displaying their products over approximately 1,00,000 square metres.
The MCTCL pavilion showcased a range of products including the 20-55 HP range. The newly developed 40-55 range of tractors was also unveiled at the fair.
In a statement here today, Mr Anjanikumar Choudhari, President, Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra&Mahindra Limited, said, ''The CAMF is the perfect platform for MCTCL to showcase its technological prowess, as it draws a large number of domestic as well as international visitors, highlighting China's emergence as an important global agri-equipment supplier.'' A conference was also organized on the sidelines of the fair, setting the tone for China's agriculture related policies for the year 2009.
