New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev today said it was wrong to reach hasty conclusions on the issue of Sadhvi Pragya's alleged involvement in the Malegaon blasts.
''We should not be hasty in reaching any conclusions on the matter related to Sadhvi Pragya,''the Yoga guru told reporters here.
On whether he felt Sadhvi Pragya was involved in the blasts, Baba Ramdev said,''though investigation in the matter is still on and the final word on the matter is still to be said, prima facie it seems she may not be guilty. After all, despite she having been made to undergo as many as four narco tests, her involvement has not yet been established.'' Questioning the need for conducting four narco tests on the Sadhvi, Baba Ramdev said,''why was her narco test carried out four times. This has created an overwhelming impression that she may not be guilty.'' Asserting that Indian culture did not teach violence, the Yoga Guru said,''whatever may be the outcome of the investigations, I will still say that violence is not a part of the Indian culture.
Blaming many politicians of providing refuge to disruptive elements, he said if Narco tests of politicians were carried out it could unravel a nexus between them and those fomenting violence in society.
In this context, he said the Muslims and Christians of the country were its faithful citizens.
''Just because of the act of a few persons, one should not view the entire Muslim or Christian community in negative terms. Muslims and Christians of India are as much faithful to the country as the people from the othwer communities,''Baba Ramdev said.
