High Tech Hospital for Shimoga: Yeddyurappa
Shimoga, Nov 11 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said the Government would set-up a 'High Tech' Hospital at Shimoga by forging a tie-up with the Private Sector.
Inaugurating Government's 'Arogya Kavacha' scheme here, the Chief Minister said the Government would provide adequate transport facilities for emergency treatment of accident cases, especially at Highways.
Mr Yeddyurappa said 5000 employees, including doctors and nurses, will be appointed under the scheme.
He said the Government would accord priority to education, health and rural development in the State.
Earlier, inaugurating a four-day 'Pratibha Karanji' programme, he said the Government would spend Rs 985 crore for education under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyana(SSA).
