Chandigarh, Nov 11 (UNI) Member of Parliament from Rohtak constituency of Haryana Deepender Singh Hooda today said the state government was giving emphasis on providing employment-oriented technical and vocational education to the youth of the state.
''The idea is to help them create a special identity of their own at the national and international level in this era of intense competition,'' Mr Deepender Hooda said while speaking at the inauguration of North Block of Model School at the Delhi Road Jhajjar.
He said Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was stressing more on the wide-spread development of education in the state.
He said besides providing technical and vocational education to the youth and giving major impetus to the women education, the state government had raised the status of many educational institutions to the level of Universties.
The Rajiv Gandhi Education City was also being set up at Kundli of Sonepat district.
Mr Hooda said Sanskrit Schools were being opened in the state so that the students belonging to rural areas could also get education on the pattern of students of urban areas. No corner of the state would be left untouched and unreachable in the field of education and modern and advanced education would be made available through out the state, he added.
