Kottayam, Nov 11 (UNI) The CPI(ML) today came down heavily on the CPI(M) in Kerala for intimidating political opponents physically.
Party state secretary P J James told a news conference here that instead of facing political opponents ideologically or politically, the CPI(M) was adopting "fascist style as in the case of West Bengal to intimidate political opponents." He strongly criticised the CPI(M) for threatening CPI(ML) district secretary's wife and daughter the other day. It was threatening CPI(ML) activists in Vaikom area for the past eight months.
The CPI(M) was handling party rebels and its political opponents physically, Mr James alleged and sought the cooperation of all irrespective of their political affiliations to condemn its "fascist style." UNI VST PMM 1430
