Melbourne, November 10 : Home-schooled actress Vanessa Hudgens says that doing 'High School Musical 3' presented her with an opportunity to have a real high school experience.
The singer, who arrived with beau and co-star Zac Efron in Sydney to attend the film's George Street premiere, described her Disney phenomenon as a real time exposure.
"I got to make that close group of friends that you would at high school," she said. I got to graduate with them," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.
"I got to have a prom. And I think I got to have a fairytale prom. The sort of prom every girl wishes she had," she added.
The teen star made her debut in 2003 appearing in 'Thirteen' and 'Thunderbirds', before shooting to fame in 2006 with her role as Gabriella Montez in the 'High School Musical' hit series.
