Rewa, MP, Nov 10 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh today alleged harassment of former Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activist Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur who was arrested in connection with the Malegaon serial blasts.
''Until solid proof is obtained, I cannot consider her a terrorist. She was subjected to four narco-analysis tests. I ask the Congress -- has any suspected militant been subjected to four such tests earlier? A terrorist has only one religion and that is terrorism,'' Mr Singh said while addressing an election meeting in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.
Accusing the Centre's United Progressive Alliance regime of vote-bank politics, he held it responsible for the price rise.
''The Congress negated the existence of Lord Ram. If He had not existed then why did Mahatma Gandhi envisage Ram Rajya? The Congress is attacking both people's bread and faith,'' Mr Singh said during his half-hour speech.
Lavishing praise on this state's Bharatiya Janata Party government, he claimed that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted unprecedented development work in the state.
