Shanghai, Nov 10 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh carded one-over 72 in the final round to finish a disappointing tied 28th at the five million dollar HSBC Champions golf tournament here today.
The Indian ace signed off with a total of one-under 287. He had a good start, parring the first eight holes with the first bogey coming on the ninth.
However, he faltered on the back nine which was marred by three bogeys as against just two birdies.
SSP Chowrasia, the other Indian in the fray, found himself at a lowly tied 68th with a total of 18-over 306 after a catastrophic 82 in the final round.
Sergio Garcia of Spain won the event after edging past England's Oliver Wilson in a gripping play-off. The Spaniard is now the world number two behind American sensation Tiger Woods.
