Dubai, Nov 10 (UNI) India captain Jhulan Goswami slipped off the top of the ICC ODI Women's Rankings for bowlers and dropped two places to third position after a disappointing series against Australia in which the visitors were white-washed 5-0.
Goswami took just one wicket in the whole series which concluded in Canberra yesterday, while England's Isa Guha and Shelley Nitschke of Australia grabbing the first and second positions respectively.
The only Indian bowler to climb the ladder was Rumeli Dhar who has lifted four places to eighth position.
Besides Goswami, other India bowlers to lose ground were Amita Shah who has dropped five places to 18th and Neetu David who has slipped six places to 20th.
In the ICC Women's Player Rankings for ODI batters, Sthalekar has swapped places with India's second-placed Mithali Raj to close the gap on top ranked Claire Taylor of England.
Sthalekar scored 208 runs in the series while Mithali's contribution was 138 runs in the five-match series.
