Hoshiarpur, Nov 10 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party is contesting alone in all state assembly seats of Jammu and Kashmir, National General Secretary of the BSP and in charge party affairs of Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab Narendra Kashyap said here today.

''BSP had emerged as a third front in Jammu and Kashmir, on account of complete failure of Congress, National Conference and PDP,'' BSP leader claimed at a press conference here.

All these political parties had ''failed miserably in controlling terrorism, ruining the economy and bringing development to a stanstill,'' he said.

The party had given due representation to all the sections in allotting the party tickets in these elections and BSP's social engineering formula to ''knit all classes in a single thread had been accepted by the people,'' he asserted.

Mr Kashyap also stated that BSP would contest the coming Lok Sabha elections from all 13 parliamentary constituencies in Punjab and 6 in Jammu and Kashmir on its own.

Candidates for 8 segments in Punjab had already been announced and the remaining would be announced after the Jammu and Kashmir state assembly elections, he said.

Ruling out any possibility of the SAD-BSP alliance for Lok Sabha polls in Punjab, Mr Kashyap said the Akali leaders were making these '''wrong statements to confuse the BSP voters''.
