PM hails vision shared by India, Oman
Muscat, Nov 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh hailed the vision shared between the Sultanate of Oman and India and said both the countries should work to give concrete shape to this vision through a broad framework of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
The visiting Indian Prime Minister said there was general admiration in India for the manner in which the Sulanate of Oman was progressing in various fields.
''We recognise the very valubale contribution the country makes to peace and security in the region,'' he told the Oman Tribune.
Oman and India signed two MOUs yesterday to boost relations, one in the field of manpower and other regarding establishment of a 100 million dollar Indian-based joint venture.
Dr Singh, who is on a two-day visit, will have an audience with Sultan Qaboos bin said today.
He would also meet the businessmen and attend a reception of the Indian community.
