Krishna refuses to react to Alva's statement
Mysore, Nov 9 (UNI) Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and senior Congress leader S M Krishna today refused to react to the statement of Margret Alva over the State issue.
Speaking to newspersons here after inaugurating the Mysore Dstrict journalists Housing Building society on the outskirts of the city, Mr Krishna said the statement had become public by now.
The issue was before the party Disciplinary Committee and party leaders would discuss about it, he said, adding he had nothing to do with it.
Referring to the seats allotted to party leaders' relatives and family members, the former Chief Minister said, if such persons served in the party for a long time, then on that ground only the tickets might have been allotted.
There was no differences among the Congress party leaders in the State, he said, adding whatever the differences of opinion, it would be sorted out within the party.
Meanwhile, former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramiah, who also participated in the function, said the statements made by Mrs Alva, would be discussed by the top leaders and the party high command would take an appropriate decision on the issue.
