Vidyaniketan Academy gets affiliation with EDexcel
Bangalore, Nov 8 (UNI) The Vidyaniketan Academy became the first school in the City to get affiliation from Edexcel, UK's largest academic and vocational qualifications awarding body, to offer its international qualifications to provide a world-class educational experience.
Speaking to newspersons, Academy Principal Roopa Dhawan said that with this tie-up enables students to earn an international qualification while pursing their regular studies.
She said that "our school has always placed great premium on having education tailored to the interests of students".
Edexcel is UK's largest awarding body for academic qualifications offering the equivalent of class 10 and 12 awards in the UK.
Edexcel's GCE A levels are recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as well as universities world-wide.
Mr Robin Clee, General Qualification Programme manager, Edexcel (UK and International) who also spoke on the occasion said that Edexcel's qualifications have a long history of academic integrity, giving students a gateway to higher education and successful careers the world over.
Edexcel, operates in 110 countries and has over 7000 education centers and over 4 million students registers with it annually and provide over 5500 vocational qualifications.
