Mumbai, Nov 8 (UNI) Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray would watch 'Deshdrohi', the movie made on the issue of the plight of north-Indians in Mumbai.
Producer and actor Kamaal Khan told UNI after the special screening of the movie for Mumbai Police here today.
Kamaal Khan said a special screening of the movie has been arranged for Mr Thackeray and his wife Sharmila at Star House in Lokhandwala tomorrow.
He claimed that top officials of Mumbai Police, who saw the movie today, appereciated it. He hoped that there will be no problem in releasing the movie in metropolis on November 14.
It may be recalled that, after the promos of 'Deshdrohi' appeared on television channels, MNS had raised an objection saying that the movie may show Maharashtrians in bad light.
Khan maintained that there was nothing objectionable in the movie.
However, police, who was apprehensive that the movie could create law and order problem, had sent a notice to the producer of the movie for the special screening before its release. The screening was today held at Eros, Churchgate.
