Pathalgaon, Chhattisgarh, Nov 8 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former union minister Dilip Singh Judeo has said that Dr Raman Singh government in Chhattisgarh should get one more chance.
''The government has taken several historical decisions more than that promised in election manifesto to benefit poor,'' he said, while addressing an election meeting in Kumekal village near here yesterday.
''When BJP came in power, then its manifesto did not mention the promise of providing rice at Rs 3 per kg and salt at Rs 0.25 per kg. The Raman government introduced this scheme despite loss and set an example for others,'' he said.
Alleging that the previous Congress government indulged in appeasement, he said poor did not benefit during the Congress rule.
