Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 8 (UNI) The annual Ellora Ajanta Festival will begin at the 17th century historic ''Soneri Mahal'' from November 28 here.
The inaugural event of the four-day colourful festival will be a dance performance by noted actress and dancer Hema Malini, along with her two daughters -- Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, followed by classical vocal by Shrinivas Joshi and sitar performance by Shujjat Hussain Khan.
Apart from classical dance performances and singing extravaganzas by Umakant Gundhe, Ramakant Gundhe and Gazal crooners Roopkumar Rathod and Sonali Rathod at the Open-Air Theatre, the festival will also include various Marathi flavoured programmes, amid the young crowd of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU) campus.
Kalagram, a model village depicting rural life, where local artists display their artistics, will be one of the main features of the festival.
