Bilaspur, Nov 8 (UNI) Four people, including a businessman, have been arrested on the charge of abducting an IAS officer in this district following an argument for seat in a train, police said today.
IAS officer Shashank Shekhar was going in the 2859 Geetanjali Express from Nagpur to Rourkela yesterday when Raipur-based businessman Gaurav Vadhwani (29) acquired his seat. An argument ensued when the officer asked him to vacate the seat.

The culprits pulled the chain and stopped the train near Chuchihapara railway crossing when the train proceeded from Bilaspur and forced the IAS officer to get down and sit an auto-rickshaw.
The auto-rickshaw had just left when the IAS officer spotted a mobile van and started shouting for help. Police stopped the vehicle and took everyone to police station. The IAS officer was shifted to police mess.
Other arrested included Suresh Mogul, Deepk Vadhwani and auto-driver.
