Silver, Gold opens weak on bullish advice

Mumbai, Nov 7: Values of silver and gold eased in the opening session on Friday, Nov 7, with the white metal failing by Rs 30 per kg and yellow metal by Rs 20 per ten gm from its last close on lack of fresh demand in view of bearish global advice, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Silver opened at Rs 17,485 while gold at Rs 11,625.

In London too, negative sentiment was seen, as gold was quoted low at USD 741.00/742.50 (745.00/746.25) per troy ounce, while silver was quoted at USD 10.21/10.22 (10.33/10.34) per troy ounce respectively.

Following are the spot silver and gold closing prices: Silver (per kg) .999 grade: Rs 17,485 Gold (per 10 gm): Standard mint 99.5 purity: Rs 11,625 Pure gold 99.9 purity: Rs 11,685.
