Law and order a priority with Govt: Hooda

Rohtak, Nov 7 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today asserted that there was no place for the anti-social elements in the state and the harrassment of common man would never be tolerated at any cost.

The Chief Minister, while hearing the grievances of the people here today said that it was the first priority of his Government to maintain law and order in the state and to provide an atmosphere of peace and tranquility to the people.

The State Government was marching towards providing employment to each and every household and a large number of jobs of various types would be provided to the unemployed.

Process of filling the vacant government jobs on merit basis was also going on continuously. Similarly, many big and small industries were being set up in the state. A large number of job opportunities would be available to the people of the state with the setting up of these industries, he said.

He redressed most of the complaints on the spot and for remaining unsolved complaints, he directed the concerned officials to take steps for their immediate redressal.

The Chief Minister also shared some moments with the members of Bar Association of Rohtak. Issue raised by a senior advocate, Mr Raghubir Singh Hooda about amendments in the Haryana Land Acquisition Act, the Chief Minister told him to send a letter in this regard and assured for deliberation on the matter.
