Kozhikode, Nov 6 (UNI) The Kerala Government will sign an agreement with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and with its state unit in New Delhi tomorrow for hosting the 35th National Games in the State.
State Chief Secretary P J Thomas, IOA President Suresh Kalmadi and Secretary-General Raja Randhir Singh and Kerala unit President M M Abdul Rahman and Secretary P A Hamza will sign the 'Host City Contract' on behalf of the government and the sports governing bodies respectively, a press release from the Kerala Olympics Association said today.
This is the second time Kerala will be hosting the National Games, the first being in 1987.
The main events will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, while Kochi and Kozhikode will host some competitions.
